Huge changes to Community Medicaid in the horizon

New York has passed new law relative to its long-term community Medicaid program, which assists eligible persons with the cost of care at home.  Under this new law, a 30-month look back period will be established, starting in October 2020. This is to say that Medicaid will be looking back at an applicant's financial transactions made over the preceding 30-month period.
